History In Progress!!

Hi, if you've stumbled upon this blog, most likely you already wish you hadn't. I do not begrudge you this. It is irrefutably dissapointing. However, in the coming months it shall grow much like collective apathy until rising to the heights of 1940's Berlin!

This blog is dedicated to me. In particular, me being able to write things in a fully immersive internet based environment. Not because I am compelled to, but rather because no journalistic outfit was looking for a "highly motivated self-starter with limited people skills and immediate medical needs".



QUESTIONS (or FAQ...)



Do you deserve to take up todays highly coveted, hyper competitive internet real estate? Most blogs and web pages are written and maintained by professionals with elite opinions and politics that further national discourse and end the spread of AIDS? Why did the internet choose you?


Ok, time for some honesty. I'm going to come out and say it, I'm an amateur. Big Deal right? Wrong! It's ok to try new things sometimes (like leafy greens, or the hail mary, remember the alamo, reverse side saddle maneuver with your loving partner).

How did you find out about the internet, and what is this blog about anyways?

I recently overheard a pow wow between my mother and her best girlfriend. After a spirited conversation centered around mutual troubles successfully sending e-mail attachments, the conversation changed tones as they began to talk about how incorrigible certain humorous e-cards seem to be. Finally the debate turned serious as they triumphantly decided there was money to be made in "internet". This definitely peaked my interest. "Money? I need that!" I questioned than exclaimed to myself. As for the second part of your question "what is your blog about?"
I believe you have unwittingly stumbled upon the purpose of this blog merely by asking!

I will be reviewing many forms of media and culture (film, video games, tv, books, magazines, toys, current events, etc...) making sure to shed light on at least one redeeming quality they possess... from saw III to trench warfare

No matter how shitty, how soul-crushingly awful, how life-shatteringly abysmal... there is always at least one aspect of everything that makes it worthwhile, always something either beneficial or humorous you can take away from the experience.

Within each Rachel Weisz film, every shitty 3-d film licensed children's video game, every episode of JAG, every fucktarded sex advice column written by some elimadate nation wannabe jackass that lowers our very fiber of humanity, there is one beautiful, sometimes hilarious aspect that will always make you remember, often with your head hung in utter shame, that it was all worthwhile . And so "Irrelevance Now!" was born to sing the praises of awesomeness and document the saving graces of incompetence and failure!!
